Zu Beginn der 20er Jahre \u00fcberredete Josep Ensesa Gubert seinen Vater Josep Ensesa Pujades, einen erfolgreichen Industriellen aus Girona, das Gel\u00e4nde zwischen der Bucht von Sant Pol und dem langen Strand Sa Conca im Norden von Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols zu erwerben. Das Gebiet hatte noch keinen Namen, weshalb die Familie beschloss, es nach dem vorhandenen Bachlauf S\u2019Agar\u00f3 zu benennen. Aus dem ehrgeizigen Projekt einer Gartenstadt mit Blick auf das Mittelmeer wurde im Lauf der Jahre der luxuri\u00f6seste und exklusivste Ort an der katalanischen K\u00fcste mit einer langen Liste ber\u00fchmter Besucher jeder Art.<\/p>\n

Das bedeutendste Schmuckst\u00fcck des Projekts war das Hostal de la Gavina. Josep Ensesa Gubert wurde einer der herausragendsten Gastgeber des Landes und eine Legende des Fremdenverkehrs. Sein Hotel sollte eine der luxuri\u00f6sesten Einrichtungen des Gebiets und eine der besten Spaniens und Europas werden. Es war auch das erste Hotel Spaniens, das in die renommierte Vereinigung Leading Hotels of the World aufgenommen wurde.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n \n <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
